WVC 2016, 10 – 12 Oct 2016, Fairmont Rey Juan Carlos I Hotel, Barcelona, Spain
Dr Martin Johnson, hVIVO’s Medical Director, will be making an oral presentation at WVC Europe 2016, one of the main European events for international researchers working in vaccine discovery and development, taking place between 10th and 12th October 2016 in Barcelona, Spain.
hVIVO are also proud to be a Gold Sponsor of WVC 2016, and have an exhibition stand, number 23, in the main exhibitor hall.
In its 17th year, this annual event has grown to be a 350+ delegate conference with vibrant presentations and conversations about scientific advances in vaccines. The agenda is built to reflect new activities in the vaccine industry, from a focus on what is going on in the immunotherapy or influenza vaccine fields to parallel tracks on discovery and pre-clinical validation, clinical trials and manufacturing methods – there is something for everyone who works within the vaccines field.
Dr Johnson’s hVIVO oral presentation, taking place in the afternoon of Day 2, 11 October, is entitled: “Human viral challenge studies: Accelerating drug and vaccine development”.
In addition to Dr Johnson’s insightful oral presentation into the increasing power of the hVIVO human challenge study platform to help accelerate promising vaccines and other therapeutic drugs, event delegates can find out more about hVIVO’s pioneering work and how it may benefit drug development research, at stand number 23, with members of the hVIVO Business Development team.
Commenting on this autumn’s WVC 2016 event, Dr Martin Johnson said “I am delighted to be asked to speak at WVC, especially in such a wonderful city as Barcelona. Like the stunning architecture of Gaudi, the hVIVO processes have been nurtured over many years. Our unique hVIVO challenge platform facilitates the efficient development of vaccines more effectively than existing field based models and I hope to bring this to life in my session.”
