Influenza Vaccines for the World, Sao Rafael Atlantic Hotel, Algarve, Portugal, 6-9 October 2015.

Dr Rob Lambkin-Williams, hVIVO Executive Scientific Advisor, Dr Anthony Gilbert, Medical Director, and Dr Daryl Borley, Diagnostic Development Manager, will each be speaking at the Influenza Vaccines for the World conference, at the Sao Rafael Atlantic Hotel, Algarve Portugal, held from 6 – 9 October 2015.

Themed “Influenza Vaccination and Issues”, this is the 5th annual Influenza Vaccines for the World and is an anticipated series for world renowned experts in the field of Influenza vaccines to report on the latest data and trends.

Dr Rob Lambkin-Williams will be presenting on Day 1, and his presentation, which will cover how hVIVO‘s Human Challenge Model can provide insights into future vaccine planning, is entitled “Correlates of protection to flu: What has the human viral challenge model revealed?”. Dr Anthony Gilbert will be also be presenting on Day 1, and his presentation, which will give insight into the pioneering work on universal vaccine development conducted by hVIVO, is entitled “Development of a Universal Influenza Vaccine using the Human Viral Challenge Model”.

Dr Daryl Borley is also presenting twice during the event. Daryl’s oral presentation is entitled “Assessing the immunogenicity of Influenza vaccines – both HA and NA are important” and as well as this he has a poster presentation entitled “Interlab comparisons of the Haemagglutination Inhibition Assay during phase 3 clinical trials using large virus panels”.
