Kym Denny, CEO of hVIVO plc, wins EY Entrepreneur of the Year Healthcare Category at national gala awards evening in London

(London, Monday evening, 3rd October 2016).

At a glittering national reception in London this week hosted by EY (Ernst & Young), and supported by sponsors and supporters including the Financial Times, Kym Denny, CEO of hVIVO plc, was voted national winner of the Healthcare category. This follows Kym’s win in the regional finals for London and the South East in June. Each business leader present was recognised for their contribution to building and leading successful, dynamic and growing businesses.

The awards judges assess the candidates on a number of detailed criteria headlined under these key headings:

Kym Denny, CEO of hVIVO plc – a pioneering respiratory biotechnology business helping to accelerate drug development – was voted in as winner of the health and life sciences section, reflecting her passion and leadership of new, disruptive approaches to transform the drug development process.

The EY judges commented: “You and your team are pioneers aiming to make drug development quicker, cheaper and more effective.”
