Our outpatient clinical trial facilities include 5 units in the UK and Germany. All our outpatient clinics have an integrated laboratory or laboratory-processing facilities and can administer IMP in the outpatient setting.
Together, our outpatient clinical trial sites provide access to a huge potential participant population and have capacity to screen over 1000 participants a week.

Our clinical trial site in Canary Wharf includes a 10-bed outpatient clinic, complete with phlebotomy services and private consultation/examination rooms. hVIVO’s office headquarters and hLAB, our specialist virology and immunology laboratory, lie directly below, allowing for seamless operations between our clinical and laboratory teams. An on-site IMP room enables IMP administration, including vaccines, in the outpatient setting.
The site has capabilities to perform all standard safety assessments (blood and urine tests, vital signs, ECG), medical review and physical examinations, pulmonary function tests, challenge testing (including methacholine and allergen respiratory challenge tests as well as allergen skin prick testing), and respiratory sampling. The on-site laboratory can process blood, respiratory samples, saliva and PBMCs, and perform real time qualitative PCR and infectivity assays.
Our outpatient clinic in Plumber’s Row has 22 outpatient beds as well as phlebotomy chairs and private consultation/examination rooms. The site has an integrated laboratory processing facility, with ambient, refrigerated, and -20℃ and -80℃ storage, allowing for efficient processing and dispatch of participant samples. An on-site IMP room enables IMP administration, including vaccines, in the outpatient setting.

Our outpatient screening clinic in Manchester, UK has 5 outpatient beds, as well as phlebotomy chairs and private consultation/examination rooms. The site has an integrated laboratory processing facility, with ambient, refrigerated, and -20℃ and -80℃ storage, allowing allow for efficient processing and dispatch of participant samples. The centrally located site gains us access to the wider UK population for recruitment and screening for our clinical trials, without the need to travel to London.
Our clinical trial site in Mannheim, Germany has an 800 m2 outpatient facility, complete with private consultation/examination rooms. The unit further benefits from on-site blood and urine processing facilities and an on-site minimally invasive operating theatre. IMP processing facilities are available within 500 m of the site.
Our clinical trial site in Kiel, Germany has 26 beds which can also be used for outpatient clinical trials. The unit also hosts private consultation/examination rooms, on-site blood and urine processing facilities and on-site pharmacy for IMP storage and dispensation.
